Like this better than the spur drive

Comments On Dec 29, 2019:I bought this about a year ago when I just started turning. I love it and use it all the time for turning spindles on center. Awhile back it came apart and the spring that holds the point in place was nowhere to be found. I used a spring from a ball point pen and it is working just as good as new.

Good drive and a good price

Comments On Feb 29, 2016:I like this much better than the stock drive that came with my Jet. I also have a couple of others that I use for green wood but this one is very versatile and it's become my go to drive center for multi-purpose use.
Well-made, nice positive spring action but not wimpy. Well finished.
Good price too.

Comments On Dec 20, 2014:When I bought this I wasn't sure how useful it was going to be for me. But after using it for quite some time its now my go to Drive Center. Holds wood with no problem.... and is forgiving on any catch. Just re-tighten the tail stock and your on your way again. No wood flying off the lathe. If you haven't tried this type of drive center yet you really should.
