The Easy-Core bowl coring system eliminates the fear and anxiety associated with coring bowls and it’s our personal favorite among all coring systems. It’s perfect for most woodturners as it doesn’t require special skills, and it’s easy to set up and operate.

Because the coring system anchors to the lathe bed and the coring unit and lathe carry the load while coring, you can core bowls to your hearts content with confidence and very little effort on your part.

The 10" Easy-Core system is designed for the Oneway 1018 (or comparably sized lathe with 1 HP motor) and is different than larger Easy Core units as it only uses one knife which is included with the system. By relocating the base on the lathe bed you can produce different sized bowl cores.

To determine Bed Gap: measure the distance between the rails on your lathe bed. This distance indicates the size of clamp block you’ll need to fit your lathe.

We highly recommend using the system with the tailstock advanced for support, which may require the use of a morse taper extension.
