Comments On Jun 30, 2021:As far as acrylic blanks are concerned this is the most beautiful blank I´ve ever turned! I used the "copperline" blank with a rhodium European pen kit and the result was a stunning pen that sold as fast as I could make it!
I plan on making kitless pens in the near future and I can already say that I will be making most of them out of DiamondCast blanks.
Sincerely, Bruce

Comments On Jul 25, 2020:I learned with my 1st order. These blanks can be touchy. The first time I tried to drill, was with a brand new "Turner's Select HSS Twist Drill Bit". I have found those drill bits bad for pen blanks, resin or wood. But I then ordered a brand new "Fuller HSS Brad Point Drill Bit" . This bit cuts through this diamond blank like warm butter. Please be mindful of the drill bit and how hard you bite into these blanks. Use a brad point, smooth, slow drilling. If you try to bite too deep, too fast,, it will shatter. But very worth it it. Turns very nicely with small, smooth scrapes. Final sanding and polishing should be done with water sanding / polishing pads. At the end, you'll love the results. They truly are incredible pen blanks.

Comments On Apr 20, 2020:I received my order with the new Diamond Cast Pen Blanks. I was very impressed with the packaging, look and feel of the round blanks and was anxious to try one out. I ordered an assortment to try and started turning with Oil Slick first. Love the round blank and it drilled nicely and a breeze to turn. I had one of your pen kits with a single barrel for my first try and it looks great. While these blanks are a bit more expensive than others I really like the finished product and will definitely keep some of these on hand for future orders.
