Nice Solid Tool Rest

Comments On Jan 03, 2014:This is a really nice tool rest. It is solid and works well for turning small items like pens and is good for turning the bottoms of bowls on a doughnut chuck. I do not use the original 12" long rest that came with the lathe. The hardened rod is very good as it does not nick easily. This makes for smooth tool sliding along the rest.
