The Rikon 80-808 Slow Speed Grinder is all business when it comes to grinding and sharpening. With its heavy cast iron base, powerful 1 HP motor and solid construction throughout, this heavy duty bench grinder is built to last and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Unlike most grinders that use flimsy stamped steel washers that can flex resulting in wheel runout, the Rikon 80-808 combines large cast metal wheel washers and a generous 5/32" shoulder on the arbor so the wheel registers properly and always run true.

For woodturners who prefer to sharpen using heavier CBN grinding wheels, the 1 HP motor provides plenty of power to get the wheel up to speed quickly.  If you’re looking to buy your last grinder, this is the one for you.
