- Carter AccuRight Bandsaw Blades are designed to cut fast, clean and accurately when preparing turning stock, cutting bowl blanks round, and for general shop use. AccuRight Bandsaw Blades feature precision milled teeth that are ideal for cutting all types of turning materials including hardwoods, softwoods, unseasoned wood, antler and more. AccuRight blades are induction hardened with flexback construction for ultimate durability and are match tooth welded for superior strength. This 3/8" blade offers a heavier cross section to minimize potential blade deflection. The 3 teeth per inch design gives the blade the ability to clear material fast which is particularly helpful when cutting green, unseasoned woods. It’s also ideal for sawing thicker material along with light to moderate resawing.

Does what it says

Comments On Jan 27, 2020:Wet wood, especially with gummy sap, has been a frustration for a long time. These specialized Carter blades live up to the product description, and they last longer that 3-4 TPI blades I purchased before. I keep an extra one in the shop in case the blade grows dull on a busy day or I hit a nail. They're not cheap, but the time saved is precious. More important to me, I'm less like to be pushing too hard on a blank with a smooth cutting blade.
