These Beall® 3" Bowl Buffs are specially designed to conform to the concave surfaces of bowls or goblets to provide a consistent, even finish to your projects. Bowl Buffs have fewer plies, making them softer and better able to conform to the contours of wood. Either mount the Bowl Buff directly to a buffing motor shaft using the available motor adapter or mount it directly to your lathe using the motor adapter in combination with a Morse Taper adapter. Bowl Buffs are available in three different consistencies for use with different finishes, and each is color coded for easy identification. Use the all linen buff (marked with a red dot) with the Tripoli compound, the linen/cotton mix (blue dot) with White Diamond polish, and the all cotton flannel buff (yellow dot) to apply carnauba wax. Bowl Buffs are designed for high-speed use (above 1725 rpm). Complete, easy to follow instructions are included with each Bowl Buff.
  • Includes one each of Tripoli, White Diamond, and Carnauba Bowl Buffs
  • Buffing compounds sold separately

works very well

Comments On Nov 26, 2013:I was having trouble deciding on what size to get since I turn all kinds of projects but I decided on the 3" kit. I have yet to use them on big bowls but they do work well for smaller things like goblets and coin dishes. I may get the 4" buffs soon but the 3" buffs have done whatever job I have used them for. If you turn sooner or later you will need the Beall buffing products.
