- The Mini Easy Rougher makes rough turning bowls to shape quick and easy. Unlike traditional bowl gouges that can be difficult to control when shaping an out-of-round blank, the Mini Easy Rougher is designed to direct the cutting pressure downward through the lathe so your lathe "takes a beating" for you.
- For small size work on standard and mini lathes
- Milled stainless steel shaft
- 11 1/2" Maple handle
- Includes premium Ci2 SQ square cutter
- Tool shank: 3/8" x 4", overall tool length: 15-1/2"

To use, simply hold the Mini Easy Rougher in a horizontal position with the cutter aligned with the center of the work piece and cut away, it’s that easy! There’s no need to sharpen, simply rotate the cutter to expose a fresh cutting edge as needed and replace when dull. Comments On Oct 30, 2013:Recently I purchased all 3 styles of the mini sized Easy Wood tools. I have found that they now are my tools of choice for the type of turning I do. Mostly I turn small things like pens, bottle stoppers, etc. and find that they make excellent cuts and stay sharp for a long time. I particularly like the way they cut acrylic. I would highly recommend having all 3 shapes for your turning needs.

Great detailing tool

Comments On Mar 10, 2013:I use this tool a lot for small convex curves, bowl feet, finials, and smaller detail work. It cuts clean like all the Easy Wood tools, and also cuts a nice flat, square shoulder. Also a good length for detail work.

Comments On Jan 19, 2013:This tool really takes the cake. It is so easy to use. I have only been turning wood for about 3 weeks and wood working for a little over a year now. EWT makes a great tool and Craft Supplies USA has a great site to get them from.
