Comments On Apr 29, 2016:It's amazing how much better diamond grit stuff is at fileing/sharping than wet stones ect. This does wear out fairly fast though while a wet stone is almost forever

A "must have" between trips to the grinder

Comments On Dec 29, 2014:If you have taken classes from the professional turners, most will tell you that the final cut MUST be done with a tool that is as sharp as you can make it (saving you time with the sandpaper - and NO ONE likes sanding). This credit card diamond sharpener allows one to quickly return that ultra sharp edge to your tools in seconds. Most turners I know use this 5 times between going to the grinder for a full freshen-up of the tool. This saves time and steel (both equate to saved money).
