The focus of our 3-day workshops is to help students gain a working knowledge of the fundamentals of woodturning . Proper tool selection and tool techniques are emphasized throughout the class along with recommended sharpening methods that produce consistent results. Wood selection, preparation, finishing techniques and general helpful tips are taught as well.

The type of projects turned during class are geared toward beginner or intermediate depending on the class. However, our goal for every class is to help each student develop a sound understanding of fundamentals and to significantly expand their current skill set so they can to take on most any project at home.
