Turners Edge gouges are uniquely different from other turning tools. Manufactured from heat-treated M2 High-Speed steel, Turners Edge gouges are casehardened "Nitrided" using carbon and nitrogen to significantly increased wear resistance, improve chip ejection, and provide exceptional performance. Made in USA.

Bowl Gouges
Turners Edge bowl gouges feature a parabolic flute profile that optimizes chip ejection, provides good blade strength, and works well for both fingernail or conventional grinds. The diameter shown indicates the actual outside diameter of the blade.
All blades have a milled flat to accommodate modular tool handles. Tool sharpened with double bevel grind.

Spindle Gouge
Blade dimensions- 8.75" overall length, 4.75" flute length. The Turners Edge 3/8" detail gouge is supplied with a traditional radiused flute.
