Comments On Jan 27, 2020:The low viscosity glue zips into hairline cracks and checks, torn grain, cambium layer/bark interface, soft spalted areas, and punky wood beautifully. It sets very quickly, but if it's a deep crack or wider than a millimeter, give extra time to set before setting the blank back to spin. The glue can spray out of the crack and that's hard on glasses. It's hard for me to imagine turning without this tool. I buy them in the 2 oz containers and have not had problems with spoilage.

Comments On Jan 23, 2017:Having a water like viscosity allows it to fill the smallest cracks. The disposable extension applicator tips make it possible for you to put it exactly where you want it. I have also found that 3 to 5 layers of Thin CA glue (without accelerator) followed by a couple of layers of medium (with or without accelerator) can be sanded back using Micro-Surface abrasives to a long lasting, high-gloss finish.

Comments On Jul 27, 2016:Great for small cracks and splits, Insta-Bond Thin Premium CA Glue is about as thick as water. It applies easily and penetrates the smallest crack or void quickly.

Comments On May 11, 2016:Love this stuff. Does a fine job of filling in any hairline gap in your project. It's thin like water and is absorbed the same as if water. Gives strength and work ability to stone as well as wood.
