Fantastic Figured Walnut turning blank

Comments On Feb 09, 2021:I purchase figured walnut turning blanks a couple of weeks ago (and the salt and pepper shaker kits)... the results were fantastic! I modified the shakers to embed the bottom of the stainless steel shaker into the body of the shaker to make for a larger wooden shaker... with the figured walnut and the pepper shaker... it turned out great. I just bought more to get this fabulous figure!

Comments On Jul 28, 2014:These blanks run a little on the small side of dimensions given, but Tech Support told me they vary, so it was not a huge suprise. Overall, the wood is very dry, which is what I need. Some of the blanks are not the quality you'd expect from Craft Supplies, but then again, it's wood. :-)
