    Quality Product

Comments On May 18, 2015:No complaints at all with this. I have purchased dozens. Two tips:
In order to screw them in it is important to size the hole correctly. That needs a bit of trial and error based on the species of wood.
I insert by grasping the corkscrew inside a piece of appropriate diameter rubber tubing in a vise and screw the wood on. Have never had a problem using this technique.

    Wire Corkscrew

Comments On Feb 13, 2015:This corkscrew looks really great when attached to your custom turned handles. The only problem I have found, has already been mentioned. The corkscrew needs to have a better way to screw it into your handle. I drill and tap mine, but still have difficulty getting the last few threads in. I have bought more, and would recommend them to anyone. Just be aware so you will not be surprised.

    Average product could be better

Comments On Sep 07, 2014:This is a good product it serves its needs but really needs to be revamped. If it had a hex rather than round in-between the corkscrew and the actual screw into the wood it would be perfect. The problem is when screwing into the wood other than very soft woods you will need a wrench and will scuff up or tear off the finish on the corkscrew. Otherwise I like this product very much it is popular.
