Nice Steak Knives

Additional Comments On Apr 17, 2023:Bought 3 sets of these so far, found that the tang is a little short but found that if you drill a 13/64 hole instead of 1/4" they tang fits much tighter and the blade stays straight. Used gorilla glue expoxy which worked very well. I am happy with the way they turned out using Bocote wood for the handles.

Tang is too short

Comments On Dec 07, 2019:I was disappointed in the fact that the tang on the blade is so short. For a cutlery item that will be used with more pressure than a fork or dinner knife I believe it needs a longer tang. That being said I feel the quality of the stainless is seems very good. I plan to use J-B weld instead of epoxy or CA glue to attach it to the handle. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Flat blade in round hole.

Comments On Jan 10, 2016:The Instructions do not include any hint on how you should center the flat blade in the round 7mm hole that you drill. I bought a 1/4" dowel and slotted it. Not certain if this solution will stand the test of time.
