Choosing the Correct Angle:

• 22° for Skews
  
• 35° for Negative Rake Scrapers. Sharpens both the top and bottom of negative rake scrapers.
  
• 40° for Spindle Roughing Gouges and the 40/40 Grind
  
• 70° for Standard Scrapers

How to Use:

Rest the flat edge of the guide on your grinder platform, then adjust the platform’s angle until both points of the gauge touch the wheel. Tighten the platform handle to lock the platform in place, and you’re ready to sharpen at the exact angle you chose.
