The M42 Nano Parting Tool helps you confidently make precision cuts when creating decorative inlay grooves in rings, pens, and other small projects. It’s also ideal for box-making, where the narrow kerf helps maintain grain alignment.

The M42 parting tool consists of a 1/2" tall tapered blade that cuts a 1mm (0.04") wide kerf on cuts up to 1/4" deep and a 5/64" wide kerf on deeper parts. The tall cross-section of the blade provides rigidity and stability while working. The 10" long ash handle makes for a comfortable grip while working. Maximum 1" reach over tool rest.
