Vicmarc’s VM100 Shark Jaws bring a serrated grip profile to the VM100 Chuck, giving you extra bite when you’re turning wood that’s prone to slipping in standard dovetail jaws. Like Vicmarc’s other jaws sets, each Shark Jaw set works in two ways. It clamps down on a foot or tenon in compression mode or expands into a recess in expansion mode, so one set covers both chuck methods.
The aggressive tooth pattern is especially useful on green wood, natural edge pieces, and other surfaces where a smooth dovetail jaw might lose its hold.
Choose the jaw size that matches your project. All three sets fit the VM100 Chuck and are not compatible with the VM120 Chuck.
